The MaxiShuttle
The Maxi Shuttle is built on an extended length chassis and Ford, GM or Chrysler chassis are possible. Although a + ton is possible, usually a 1 ton unit is recommended and it is necessary if a diesel engine is preferred.As with the standard length, many different interior layouts are possible incorporating a mixture of wheelchair locations and seating options. The one shown is sample of a popular model but many more wheelchair locations are possible. Lifts can be mounted either in the side or rear and a raised roof and door is needed for compliance to D409 regulations. |
