Robot 2001
Kino Mobility Inc. has acquired the distribution rights for Canada for the Robot 2001,
an innovative assistive device for seniors and persons with disabilities. It has
been successful in Europe for years and is manufactured by T. M. N. Devices Ltd.
This unique accessory can be installed in most cars, SUV's and station wagons to automatically
store and retrieve a folding or rigid framed manual wheelchair operating solely from
the drivers seat. One of it's special features is it's versatility as it can be removed and
reinstalled in different vehicles. It doesn't need a special parking space and can be deployed
even if someone parks at your rear bumper.
It has been part of an interactive display in conjunction with Ontario March of Dimes at Toronto's Design Exchange and showcased at many international exhibitions.
